Terms of Use for Aviatool (METAR, TAF)

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Aviatool (METAR, TAF) application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

License to Use

The Developer, Sergiy Shastin, grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly in accordance with these Terms.

warning Aviation Disclaimer (CRITICAL)

Not an Official Pre-Flight Briefing: This application is designed as a utility to aggregate aviation weather (METAR/TAF) and provide E6B calculations. It is NOT a substitute for official meteorological sources or a certified pre-flight briefing. The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is solely responsible for verifying all weather data and calculations with official dispatch and national aviation authorities before any flight.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: errors in calculations, flight delays, dispatch errors, maintenance non-compliance, regulatory fines, logging errors, or any incidents/accidents arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App includes advertisements provided by third-party networks (e.g., Google AdMob) and utilizes services like Firebase Crashlytics. We are not responsible for the content of these advertisements. The use of ad-blockers or modifying the app to remove ads violates these terms. By using the App, you also agree to the applicable terms of these third-party providers.

No Warranty

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Intellectual Property

All code, design, and original assets within the App are the property of the Developer. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, redistribute, modify, or monetize the App without explicit written permission.

Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
