Sergiy Shastin ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") built the EASA FTL Assistant app as a Free/Ad-Supported application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your information. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.
Data Collection and Local Processing
EASA FTL Assistant is designed with privacy and operational security in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to our own servers. Duty-time calculations, flight duty inputs, rest periods, and related planning data are processed on your device. Saved calculations or duty records may be stored locally on your device when you choose to keep them.

While the core app logic runs locally, the app may use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. These services may collect data such as your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, and usage statistics. Specifically, we may use:
- Google Play Services: For basic app functionality and distribution.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: To track usage patterns and log app crashes. We may log non-personal diagnostic parameters exclusively to identify and fix application errors.
- Google AdMob: To display advertisements within the app. AdMob may use advertising IDs to serve personalized ads.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK: To gather and manage user consent regarding data privacy regulations (such as GDPR/CCPA).

Device Permissions

Since your saved calculations, duty records, and app settings stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them, the security of this information depends on your device's security settings. We rely on standard industry practices provided by Google for the security of third-party SDKs integrated into the app.
